Fortnite Stuck on Checking For Updates on Nintendo Switch

Are you getting stuck on “checking for updates” on Fortnite? You’re not alone.

Epic Games released the v16.30 Fortnite update today. As we’ve come to expect this season, most the updates are a lot smaller in terms of content in comparison to major updates we’ve seen through the history of Fortnite. We usually only see a weapon added here and there along with some additional features to Fortnite Creative.

In chapter 1, major updates would usually bring map changes, something which we’ve not seen this season. However, we do have some very small map changes to compliment the Fortnite x Batman Zero Point comic, but we’ll cover that map change in a separate article.

Today’s update also brings a new boss along with a new Mythic weapon. You can read everything new in today’s update over here.

We also have a number of leaks from the update including brand new skins and other cosmetics coming to the game along with a new Knights of the Food Court bundle that’ll include three skins, three back blings, and three pickaxes. You can check out more on that here.

Unfortunately for Nintendo Switch players, the new update has caused some issues resulting in players not being able to login to their accounts.

Stuck on Checking for Updates and You Do Not Have Permission to Play Fortnite

If you’re getting the error message “you do not have the permission to play Fortnite” error, you’re not alone. A large number of Nintendo Switch players are reporting this error and are worried they’ve been banned, but it’s just a login issue that needs to be reolved.

Players are also reporting that they’re stuck on checking for updates for Fortnite on the Switch. Both issues are currently being looked into by Epic Games, and we’ll update this article as soon as it’s been resolved.

Will Smith & September 2021 Fortnite Crew Pack Skins Leaked (Ninja Wolf)

Data-miners have leaked a Will Smith Fortnite skin along with the possible September Fortnite crew skin. Epic Games released the v17.40 Fortnite update today. As usual, there were a number of Fortnite skins that were leaked by data-miners during downtime. These are cosmetics that Epic don’t encrypt which means data-miners can leak them with ease. Most patch updates also have encrypted files which are usually cosmetics or event files. There were several encrypted files added in today’s update, but due to the size, it was obvious they weren’t event files. Data-miners have now began leaking these encrypted files and they’re upcoming cosmetics. We’ve seen a Morty skin leak along with a Janky skin which is Guggimon’s friend. Today’s ‘Nerdle’ Equations of the Day #59 Answers: March 19th 2022

Here is the answer to the Mini Nerdle, Instant Nerdle, Classic Nerdle, and Speed Nerdle equations 59 released on March 19th, 2022. Nerdle is the maths version of Wordle, but instead of guessing the word of the day, you need to guess the equation. The game works in a similar way as there are no clues as to what the equation will be, but once you have made a guess, the colour of the tiles will change to let you know if have placed the number/symbols in the correct place and if they appear in the equation. The developers of the game are constantly making changes to the game to improve it and have come up with different puzzles that have then been added to the daily puzzles. At the moment, there are four different types of daily puzzles you can play which are the Mini, Classic, Instant, and Speed Nerdles.
